Spinning Cormo

What an amazing fiber Cormo is. Well worth the higher price you pay per oz.

I love spinning it, more than any other fiber.
It spins smoothly and drafts easily it practically spins itself
and is making the most beautiful single ever.
If you spin, be sure to spin some Cormo if you get an opportunity to do so.

Thank you Paula, for gifting this fiber to me. It will motivate me to finish cleaning the pillow case full that I have so I can spin that too.

Have a great weekend! Don't forget to check out the other crafty peeps over at Wisdom Begins in Wonder.  Tell Andrea I said "hey!".

Isn't it great when you find a fiber that is your favorite? I am quickly finding that I have a few and like to spin them all a certain way.

I need to get some more Cormo. Now I want to spin it again.

I think it's such a delight to try fibers from different breeds of sheep! Each has its own strength and special quality.

Ooh, pretty! I haven't spun any Cormo yet, but keep hearing of it's loveliness from other spinners. Little Dog is right - time for me to get spinning!

I have some Cormo-cross in my stash... as well as my freezer. ;-)

I'm looking forward to spinning it, but I haven't figured out what for.

I didn't realize Cormo was more expensive ... I thought Jacob was in that category? Nevertheless, that single looks so incredibly soft. Maybe that's why LittleDog wants you to spin, spin, spin. :)

That's some gorgeous looking yarn! I'm sure it feels really good knitting with it.

Puppy kisses from Rascal to LittleDog :-)

The Cormo looks absolutely beautiful. I will do as little dog says as soon as I can, got some fibre to dye up before I spin it, maybe over the long weekend

A quick review of my stash indicates that the wool in my stash and sheep in my freezer is Corriedale-cross, not Cormo. Oops. I knew it started with a C. ;-)

Happy Easter!
