as the last few hours of vacation tick by...

It was a wonderful vacation; made doubly so by two of our children paying for the bulk of the week's Kabin rental. To say thank you seems hardly adequate.

There was sun, rain, sometimes both at the same time... fishing...

and a lot of knitting...

I finished the Fascine Braid Socks and started Christine's favorite, Spring Forward Socks

reading... and napping.

We ate great food, cooked by The Saint over the open fire

and enjoyed a few hot and cold beverages.

We're always sad to leave, especially this trip since we made some new friends, but it's good to get home and sleep in our own bed...and get a good shower!
