Max went to see a new groomer this week.
I think she's pretty happy with her new style even if it is a bit girlie...
She really liked the nice ladies at North Bark. We'll be going back again soon.
Some fiber has been spun this week. The Phat Fiber that I was spinning for Shine is finished...214 yds, 2 ply, assorted fine fibers.
It's oh-so-soft.
Next up, BFL dyed by another GR Yarnie, Emily. This is an older color she did called Mayim Bialik (aka Blossom...did you know that she has a PhD in Neuroscience? Neither did I).
I checked in on Max last night around 7 and she's still exhausted from her trip to the groomer...
Hope you all have a great weekend. Have some fun with some fiber if possible. Be sure to check out all the creative peeps that participate in Fiber Arts Friday on Andrea's blog called Wisdom Begins In Wonder. You'll be inspired!

Aw, look at those pretty bows! My boys sometimes get a new kerchief for their neck but never bows. I love those purty bows.
Your yarns are gorgeous. Emily does dye some lovely blends. Looking forward to seeing what you create from her braid.
Our dogs are about to go to the groomer, too. Its exhausting getting pretty-fied! I love the luster of your yarns :)
Your yarn is pretty.... I really like the green on your bobbin.
Ahh... I think Max is just enjoying the bliss from her trip to the salon. ;-)
To answer your question from yesterday, our weather has been lovely and quite nice... but no where near as warm as you guys.
I wonder if my kitty would like little bows?? Max is so adorable!
Your spinning is lovely as always! And a little side note about Mayim, she has been added to the cast of the Big Bang Theory and plays . . . a neuro scientist! LOL!
So cute!! I love the bows... I wonder if Gretchen would tolerate them? (I know Sissy wouldn't.)
The bows are too adorable. Love the last photo of her sleeping.
You spinners and dyers are amazing! The colors and the yarn you create must make it so much fun to work with your own yarn.
The yarn looks great, and I can appreciate the 'extreme exhaustion' that results from a long day in the hair salon!! Grin.
Snazzy do! Happy FaF!
I actually did know that about Mayim Bialik, but I forget where I heard it!
Love love the spinning!
(My doggie snickered when she saw your doggie's hair bows ... wants to know why your doggie doesn't know how to shake them off!)
Love your spinning. Mayim is on Big Bang Theory so it makes sense she's got a PhD in neuroscience -- she's probably the smartest one on the set!
Man that first yarn is GORGEOUS!!! I have to say that the bows made me LOL for real too.
