If nothing else...staying to the end will usually get you a look at a cute LittleDog.
Thank you for coming and please be sure to leave a comment. Then feel free to hop over to Wisdom Begins In Wonder where my friend Andrea hosts the Fiber Arts Friday blog circus. You'll see what folks from all around the fiber arts world have been working on.
Today I have a little progress on the Wingspan Shawl for the knit along that I'm half-ass-ed-ly participating in...
Now that I've got it on a longer cable and can see it laying flat I'm beginning to like it more. I've been spending most of my on-the-go knitting time working on this since it takes only a small amount of brain power...knit to the marker and turn around, then knit back...how easy is that?
Speed is picking up on the Riff sock for Yarn Hollow. I had been stalled for
There is heel flap action going on and I'm crossing my fingers that the fancy stitches are in the right configuration when they meet up with the front of the sock in a few rows. If they're not you'll hear some screaming from my neighborhood.
In case you are curious about the nifty new project bag in that first pic this arrived yesterday from Knit Picks. I chose the small size tote and I believe I'm in love...
Now that you've managed to get through all that knitting stuff, here is your LittleDog reward for today...
This is his I'm a handsome guy pose. He's wishing you a super-fun-fibery weekend.
While I'm thinking of it...isn't this the cutest thing you ever saw?
See you next Friday! In the meantime you can find me on Ravelry, FB or Twitter.

The shawl is going to be awesome, Ally!! I also like the color of the socks you're struggling with!
XXO-
I love the little dog reward. Your wingspan will be beautiful. I've considered knitting one...I need a brainless knit. Great project bag. At least you'll see all of your goodies.
I have the pattern and hope to do the wingspan-yours is looking good.
Can't wait to see them finished!
Your sock is looking really good - I'm the same way with the toe-up, since I know top-down heel flaps by heart, I find it frustrating to have to muddle through directions again!
I love your blog update!! Colors... books... Fiber and LittleDog. :-)
I do like that wingspan shawl... probably because it's more scarf-like than shawl-like. ;-) It's in my list of things to knit one day.
I had never ever seen this shawl before. Wow! It's looking good, and it's gonna look great (I checked the link). Just might have to look into that one...I don't have a shawl...yet.
Thank you so much for sharing this.
Your Wing Span is looking good. I've seen several of these made up but I'm liking your using the varigated yarn vs. the long self stripping that others have used.
I'll keep my fingers crossed all goes well with your socks after your troubles with the heel. I wonder how far your voice will carry if you need to scream?
Pretty WIP... cute little dog... nice project bag! Happy FAF!
Your Wingspan is looking great. Funny how we can be so critical about our own projects, maybe because we look at them all the time and tend to see the flaws.
Oh LittleDog, you are handsome indeed :-)
The wingspan is looking great, I have had it in my queue for a while and you saying it is good low brain power knitting makes me want to cast one on
Oh always love LittleDog. I really hope there's no screaming from your neighborhood, and also your shawl is looking great!
Hi lil dog!
Your shawl is working up very nicely. I really like the pattern on your sock to.
Half-assed is better than none. I joined and have yet to cast on. Yours looks great!
I'm loving your wingspan - the colours are lovely!
Good luck in your husband's closet! :)
Your wingspan is looking great! And I love that sock. How proud of yourself are you, figuring it out? That's too cool.
Thank you all so much for your support. It's great to have so many folks pulling for my success with a toe-up sock. Alas, today, it will be ripped back a considerable amount. Hopefully, after the ripping, it'll progress quickly, in the correct fashion.
Little Dog's teeth look so handsome and clean!
I just love your wingspan shawl color way......it is gorgeous...
