Mayim, you're lovely

Hello!, Happy Fiber Arts Friday to you. Thank you for coming. Don't forget to leave a comment so I'll know you were here.

You'll find lots more fibery goodness when you visit the other creative folks that post to this event over at Wisdom Begins in Wonder.

A while back I purchased this braid from my friend Emily and received a nice amount of white Cormo from Paula.
After many hours of spinning - about 10 oz of fiber
5 hours of plying
and another half hour of winding and counting

I have a beautiful skein of yarn
after a soak and winding into a cake it'll be ready to knit, hopefully into this.

What fibery things have you been doing this past week, month, year? Please share.
LittleDog's Rules...

You must explore every corner of the yard
bark at the neighbor mowing his lawn
and remember, every blade of grass must be sniffed.
Love to all, LittleDog

Beautiful yarn, that will be a lovely project for it.

Little dog is very wise he speaks (barks?) sense

LittleDog is right, how can someone mow the lawn without his permission?

The shawl pattern looks very interesting, I shared it with the Wingspan group (which is now becoming assorted other shawl KAL). Your yarn will look great in it!

Wow!! Your yarn is so pretty! Thanks for sharing all those photos, I can't believe the transformation from fleece into yarn - looks complicated!

I can't wait to see it knit into the shawlette - that is going to be truly beautiful!

Your dog is so cute!

Ok, that yarn is seriously gorgeous - it should be a great match with that shawl pattern.

And it's nice that you allowed LittleDog to publish his rulez of the backyard. Shouldn't we all be barking at the next door neighbor and his loud mower? :)

I love the colors in the yarn. Very nice!
Littledog is so cute. Pugs can be so curious, can't they? Do having so little nose, they sure do a lot of sniffing!
