Thinking back on last Sunday - it was a perfect day!
I do so enjoy looking at the bridges along the
Grand River...

The weather was sunny, if a bit chilly, and the river was like glass...
Perfect for the first boat ride of the season with my Honey...

There are so many beautiful things to see along the river. I love
Old North Park Bridge in
Riverside Park click on pics to enlarge
As we slowly motored away from the launch we left the
newest piece of our city's skyline in our wake...

and before long we were passing under the new North Park Bridge. It isn't nearly as romantic as the old iron version.

but it does accommodate quite a bit more traffic.
I'm heading over to
City Knitting for some dog-free knitting. It's the only way to escape this little beast, LOL

He was exhausted after The Saint literally scared the juice out of him this morning. Boomer's recovering and The Saint - being your typical 8 yr old boy in a man's body - is still wiping the tears from his eyes and trying to stop laughing...
geez!Hope you all enjoy the weekend. Thanks so much for stoppin by.
Happy Birthday to Rena yesterday! Hope you enjoy that new Swiffer, ROFL. Love you!

The boat road looked beautiful. Been a long time since I have been out on a boat . . . *a bit jealous*. :)
Sissy and Gretchen are confused by that dog-free knitting comment. (right on cue, Gretchen bounced over and the screen went black for a second)
What a lovely ride! Thanks for taking photos for all of us to enjoy.
Boomer looks so happy!
Your boating pictures are beautiful, I hope you had a good time dog-free knitting!!
Poor Boomer...what did that mean man do to you, baby? Poor thing.
Sounds like y'all had a great day in the boat! I miss getting out on the water, but my Dad sold his boat a while back.
